Who are you?

Well, I am Matt Strickland! I am a current senior at the University of Southern California studying communications.

I was born and raised in rural North Carolina, so moving to Los Angeles was a big change for me! (I will say I kept all of the southern hospitality.) It has led me to branch out more and truly let my extrovert side out!

At my core, I am a person who desires knowledge. I love to learn new things every day! Whatever job I decide to work, I am wholeheartedly excited to learn as much as I can.

My passions lie within the gaming/digital media industries. I grew up with the Internet by my side, so I’ve come to appreciate how communities thrive online. It is amazing how we can connect with those around us with a few clicks and taps! My dream job is to work as a community manager or social media manager since connecting with those around me is important to me. I am open to other opportunities as long as I get to interact with those around me.

Whenever I am not working or completing errands, you can find me exploring Los Angeles for new sweet treats or sitting at my computer trying new games. (One of my latest obsessions has been Somi Somi’s new banana milk flavor. It is delicious!)
